Flow, 2019

These are some of the self-portraits which I’ve made since 2016.

Silence, 2018

People panic when they see your nose bleeding. If you are lucky enough, people will ignore it when you tell them you have a bellyache, and if you are not, everyone will have their idea about how to cure it.

So how can you tell somebody that your mind is broken, that your soul is bleeding?
– Oh, that’s stupid! Soul bleeding?! Everyone will laugh at you.

So what are you going to do?
How will you ask for help?
– No, no, you will not! Nobody will take you seriously. They will just say you are fine.

What about that photo camera?
It has always been good for speaking the silence out. It is perfect for you. You anyways cannot scream. Moving is also uneasy, and besides, you are all numb.
So you can only stand there and… stare! In silence.

Tears, 2018

Virginia Woolf: What happens?
We return to the place that we came from.
Angelica Bell: I don’t remember where I came from.
Virginia Woolf: Nor do I.
